Coming in April:
Arsenic and Old Lace
by Joseph Kesselring.
The story revolves around Abby and Martha Brewster, two spinster sisters
who welcome boarders into their home. The boarders are usually men
with nowhere to go, just waiting out their time. With the Brewster sisters,
they don't have to wait long! By giving the men a little arsenic-laced
wine with their meal, the men are later burried basement by their
newphew who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt digging the Panama Canal.
Other residents at the boarding house include newphew Jonathon who is
running from the law and Mortimer, a theater critic who hates theater
and writes his reviews in advance to save time later.
Auditions will be held Friday and Saturday at the New Boston
Town Hall. Auditions are open to anyone 17 and older; you must be
a resident of, or work in the town of New Boston or one of the
neighboring towns.
